l WHEREAS, the Commission has reviewed and considered the
2, information in the Negative Declaration as provided in the Executiv
3 Officer's Report duly prepared and filed by the City of Fresno.
4 _NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Local Agency Formation
5 Commission of the County of Fresno does HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE,
6 AND ORDER as follows:
7 section 1. Said proposal is approved with revised boundaries
8 to delete three parcels east of Harrison Avenue (APN 407-192-05,
9 06, and 07) and a parcel southwest of the Bullard-Palm Avenue inter-
10 section (APN 416-083-24) and a revised map and legal description
ll shall be submitted to the Executive Officer, subject to approv 1 by
12 the County Assessor. Any resolution of the conducting agency
13 ordering this reorganization shall provide that such reorganization
14 shall be subject to the following terms and conditions:
15 1.Prior to completion of the subject pr,oposal, an application
16 for the annexation of the territory within the created island north
17 of Sierra Avenue and east of Palm Avenue shall be received by the
18 LAFCO Office.

2: The effective date shall be June 30, 1982, or later.
Section 2. Said territory is found to be uninhabited and
21 is assigned the following distinctive short form designation:
22 "Frernont-Frui t #2".
23 section 3. The City of Fresno is designated as the conducting
24 agency, and the governing body of said agency is hereby directed to
25 initiate reorganization proceedings in compliance with this
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Further proceeding�. shall be initiated by the
28 conducting agency not later than 35 days after the date of adoption
29 of the Commission resolution and shall be conduc�ed and completed
30 pursuant to required law. Proceedings and any resolution of
31 approval shall comply with the Commission's resolution of approval.
