A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESHO,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE RElMOVAL OF A PORTION OF
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE. OF WEST
WHITESBRIDGE ROAD BETWEEN MARKS AND HUGHES AVENUE!S
(2730 WEST WHITESBRIDGE ROAD) FROM THE URBAN GROWTH
MANAGEMENT AREA

WHEREAS, the Byron Jackson Pump Division of the aorg-Warner
Corporation has initiated a request fl':>r the removal of its property
located at 2730 West Whitiesbridge Road from the Urban Growth
Management Area in accordance with Section 12-4.502-C of the Fresno
Municipal Code; a11d
WHEREAS, the Byron Ja.ckson Pump Division property was subject to
review under Urban Growth Management Permit No. 41 filed on
January 16, 1978; and
WHEREAS, on May 2, 1978, the Planning Commission of the City of
Ii"'resno conducted a public heai:in~J on the subject matter and
recommended the approval to the Council of the City of Fresno in
Resolution No. 6515; and
WHEREAS, on May 16, 1978, the council adopted Resolution
No. 78-205, approving Urban G1~owth. Management Permit No,., 41, subject
to compliance with all conditions in the service Delivery Plan dated
March 29, 1978; and
' WHEREAS, the Director of the Development Department has
determined that removal of a portion but not all of the subject
property from the Urban Growth Management Area is justified and has
recommended that the council grant the request in part, by :removing
the easterly 308 feet of subject property from the Urban Growth
Management Area; and
WHEREAS, the council of the Ci tl"' of Fresno on December 21, 1982,
did conduct a duly noticed public hearing pursuant to Section
12-~t. 502-C-3, Fresno Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, thi: council of the City of :Fresno resolvez that
the following described real property is hereby removed from the
Urban Growth Management Area:

The Easterly 308 feet of the following described property:
A portion of Lot 3 in the Southwest quarter of Section 6,
Township 14 South, Ranse 20 East, Mount Diablo Base and
Meridian, in the County of Fresno, State of California,
according to the map thereof recorded January 9, 1884, in
Book 2, Page 18 of Plats, Fresno County Records, described
as the Southwest quarter West half of the Southwest quarter
of said Section 6;
Except therefrom the North 100 feet thereof.
Also excepting therefrom that portion deeded to the State
of California in instrument recorded October 26, 1971 1 in
Book 59-49, Page 617 of Official Records, Document No. 85462
described as that portion of Lot 3 in the Southwest quarter
of Section 6 1 Township 14 South, Range 20 East, Mount
Diablo Base and Meridian, described as follow~3:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said section, said
Southwest corner being at coordinates Y=511 606.58: feet
and X==l 752.96 feet; thence (1), along the South line of
said section, North 89°58'51'• East, 53 feeti thence (2),
North 0°55'48" East, 167.66 feet; thence {3), North 9°53 1 46"
East, 292.69 feet; thence (4), North 73o43 1 41n East,

to the East line of the West half of the Southwest quarter

OTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT ON:
December 21, 1982, TUESDAY, at 3:15 p.m.
in the Council Chamber, Room 215, in the Fresno City Hall, 2326
Fresno treet, Fresno, California, a public hearing will be con-
ducted before the Council of the City of Freno.
At such time a written request, filed by the YRO JACKSON PUMP
DIVISION , to remove the following descr'bed real p operty iI the
City of Fresno from the Urban Growth Management Area, will be
conside rP-d, ,ursuant to Section 12-4.502-C .of th Fr $'DO
unicipal Code.
