A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI'l:1Y OF FRESNO
MODIFYING THE uNO-FREEWAY ALTERNATIVE '1 OF THE
WOODWARD PARK COMMUNITY PLAN
Planning
WHEREAS, on February 5, 1976, by Resolutior1 No ... 76-62, the City
Council certified Final EIR No. 10049, relating to the Woodward Park
Community Plan; and
WHEREAS, on February 5, 1976, by Resolution No .. 76-63, the City
Council adopted the Woodward Park Community Pla:n; and
WHEREAS, the Wood-ward Park Community Plan contains a 0 No Freeway
JJ~lternative 11 , as depicted on Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, on August 3ir 1982, Riverpark Properties, requested modifi-
cations to the "No Freeway Alte:t'nativeu of the Woodward Park Community
Plan, as depicted on Exhibit "B 0 ; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fresno desires to have this al-
ternative reflect the latest thinking e>f the lc:1.nd owner and the City
staff; and
WHEREAS, the land uses and circulation pa·!:terns designated on such
0 No Freeway Alternative" will not become effect:ive until such land use
designations have been initiated as an amendmen.t to the Community l?lan,
analyzed and reviewed consistent with applicable State and local law, in-
cluding the California Environmental Quality Act, and adopted by the
Council after noticed public hearings before the Planning Commission and
the Council.
NOW, THEREF·ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Oouncil of the City of
l!'resno hereby authorizes the modification of the "No, Freeway Alternative 11
of the Woodward Park Community Plan, as depicted on Exhibit 11 B".
