RESOLUTION NO. 82-543
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO,
CALIFORNIA, EXTENDING MONTH-TO-MONTH TENANCIES FOR
SCHEDULE:D AIR CARRIERS AND CONTINUING INTERIM RATES
THEREFOR AT FRESNO AIR TERMINAL

WHEREAS,r Section 2-'-3202(c) of the Fresno Municipal Code
provides that no business or commercia.l ,activity shall be conducted
on the airport except with the approiiral of and under such terms
and conditions as may be prescribed by the Council; and
WHEREAS, pending the compl,i~tion of negotiations for new
airline agreements, the Council adopted and later extended,
Resolution No. 82-77 which authorizea the airlines to continue their
occupancies and operations on a mont'.h-to-month tenancy basis and
established inte:r::im rates and charges therefor; an,d
WHEREAS, the month-to-month tenancy authorized by
Resolutii::m No. 82-77 will expire Nov1ember 30, l982r and negotiations
for m~w agreements are not expected to be completed; and
WHEREAS, the Council des:b:-·es to facilitate the. continuation
of airline operations at Fresno Air Terminal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the COUNCIL of the CITY OF
FRESNO as follows:
1.. The month~to-month tenancy for scheduled air carriers
authorized by Resolution No. 82-77 i.s hereby extended to June l, 1983.
Authorization is applicable to all a:ir carriers operating regularly
scheduled service at the Fresno Air Terminal.
2. Rental rates and other fees and charges to be appli'oabJ.e
during such extended month-to-month tenancy shall be continued as folJ.,ows:
