A RESOLUTION PRELIMINARILY Al?PROVING ENGINEER'S
REPORT IN THE MATTER OF CITY OF FR.ESNO
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 88 _____ , _________________ , ____ _
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fresno, Cali-,
fornia, that:
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of October, 1982, said Council
did adopt its Resolution of Intention to order improvements to be
made in said City and to make the costs and expenses thereof
chargeable upon an assessment district; and did refer the proposed
improvements and acquisitions to the Engineer of work of said Dis-
trict, and did direct said Engineer of Wt)rk to make and fiJ.e wi tll
the City Clerk of said City a Report in writing, as more particu-

larly described in said resolution, pursuant to Article 20, Chapte1~
15, of the Fres:no Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Engineer of Work has made and filed with
the City Clerk of ~laid City a Report in writing as called for in
said Resolution of Intention,· which Repo:r-t has been presented t:o
this Council for c()nsideratioin; and
• WHEREAS i• said Council has duly· considered said Report and
finds that each anc1 every part of said Reiport is sufficient, and
that neither said Report,, nor any part thereof, requires or
should be modified in any respect.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT :tS ORDERED, AS FOLLOWS:
1 .. That the plans and specifications of the proposed.
work and improvements to be made, contained in ;e;aid Report be, and
they are hereby, p:r:·eliminaril~t approved and con:firmed.
2. That the Engineer's estima.te oft.he costs and ex-
penses of the work, acquisitions and improvements and of the inci-
dental expenses in connection therewith, contained in said Report,
be, and each of them is hereby, preliminarily approved and co11-
firmed.

3.. That the diagram shQwing . the assessment district
referred to and described in said Resolution <:>f Intention and also
the boundaries and dimensions of the respective subdivisions of
l,::md within said assessment district as the same existed at the
time of the passage of said Resolution of Inteni:ion, each of which
subdivisions has been given a separate number upon such diagram,
as contained in said Report, be, and it is hereby, prE:limin~rily
approved and confirmed.
4. That the proposed assessments upon the several
subdivisons of land in Elaid assessment district 1,. in proportion to
the estimated benefits to he received by such subdiirisions,
respectiYely, from said work, acquisitions at1d improvements, and
of the incidental expens;es thereof, as conta:Lned in said Report,
be and they are hereby, prelim:lnarily app;roveol a:nd confirmed.
5 • That said Report shall stand as the Eng inf.~er • s
Report for the pur.pose 0 1f all subsequent proceedings and pursuant
to said Resolution of Intention.
6. The Department of Public Works (consulting Services
Division) of the City of Fresno is desi.~rnated as the City
Department to answer inquirie::: regarding the protest proceedings.
