A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL 01!' THE CITY OF
FRESNO AMENDING THE WOODWARD PARK COMMUNITY
PLAN AND SAN JOAQUIN BLUFFS EMVIRONS SPECIFIC
PLAN
Development
WHEREAS, on February 5, l9 7 6, by Re sol u·t.~ion No,. 76-63 t:he Council
adopted the Woodward Park Comrnun:Lty Plan; and
WHEREAS, on November 13, 1979, by ResoltLtion No. 79-523 the Council
adopted the San Joaquin Bluffs Environs Specific Plan; and
WHEREAS, on May 25, J.982~ by Resolution No. :82-240, the Council
initiated procedures to amend the Woodward Park Community Plan anq.
.San Joaquin Bluffs Environs Specific Pla.n as shown on attached
Exhibit nAn as requested by the applicant; and
WHEREAS, Final Environmental Impact Report No. 10075, relating to
the proposed amendment was complebad in accordance with the Environ-
mental Quality Ordinance, the California Envi:i:-onmental Quality Act,
and the State E.I.R. Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on August 4, 1982 ., considered and
certified Environmental Impact Report No. 10075; and
WHEREAS, the Planning· Commission, on August 4, 1982, conducted a
public hearing on said amendment, and afber consideration of the
environmental documents, testimony, and evidence, recommended to
the City Council by Resolution No. 7843 that the Woodward Park Com-
munity' Plan and San Joaquin Bluffs Environs Specific Plan be amended
as shown on the attached map labeled E:xhibit "Ali; and
·wHERE.A.S, the Council, on August 31,1982, considered and certified
Environmental Impact Report No. 10075p and
WHEREAS, the Council did, on August 31,1982 conduct a public bearing
on the proposed amendment and considered' environmental documents,
testimony and evidencev
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of th~ City of Fresno
hereby amends the Woodward Park Comrm .. tnity Plan and the San Joaquin
Bluffs Environs Specific Plan as shown o;:1 the attached Exhibit 11 A 11
subj,ect to the condition that development of the property within the
amendment area shall be in accordance with the mitigation measures
adopted in Council Resolution No.82-453 c•~rtifying Environmental Impact:
Report No8 10075. ·
