The rights of way or parts thereof" to be vacated are
described as follows :-
Friant koad between Blackstone Avenue and a point
1 050 feet south of, Audubon Drive.
For
further particulars as to the proposed vaeati..on 'refer
ence is
herehy made to the attached Exh.ihlt
3.
That all proceedings for the vacation of such rights
of way
or parts thereof are `intended to be and shall be taken
subject
to the following
A.
Amendment by the Council, of the existing Specific Flan.
Dine (Serial No. 85) for Fria t Road and Nees Avenue
to conform to the Community Canter Circulation Amend-
ment of the Woodward Park Community _Plan
B.
Adoption by the Council of a Community Flan .Amendment
which includes the Fresno Street Corridor.
C.
Adoption by the Council'of the Official Flan pine for
the Fresno Street Corridor from Bullard Avenue to
Audubon Drive, as initiated on May 19, 1981
D.
Dedication of Nees Avenue between Fresno Street and
the new approved public access to existing Mate
Route 41 to its ultimate planned arterial street width*
E.
Construction of Nees Avenue street improvements, in-
cludng a gated crossing of the Southern Pacific
Transportation Co, branch.ra.ilroa:d, to re-route the
traffic now carried by the segment of Friant Road pro-
posed to be vacated south of Nees
F.
Construction of the new Fees Avenue connection to
existing State. Freeway 41 in conformance with the
following conditions stipulated to the California
Transportation Commission's Resolution No. S-6 3:
a. Construction to widen. Blackstone Avenue as
necessary to' mitigate traffic generated by
the Nees Avenue connection between the
existing Friant Road intersection and the
proposed Nees Avenue interseeti.on including
necessary channeliza.tion details (turn
lanes, curbs, transition north of Nees
Avenue, etc.).
b:. Modification of the signal system at the
existing Nees Avenue intersection to accom-
modate the new street constructionv
G.
Dedication of Fresno Street between Cole Avenue` and
Audubon Drive to its ultimate.planned width ' in accor-
dance with the pending Offici,al. Plan Line fear the
Fresno Street Corridor from. Bullard Avenue to Audubon
Drive. (Right of way to be vacated back to applicant
if not used by City for street purposes . )
E.
Construction of Fresno; Streetimprovements from 'Cole,
Avenue to ,Audubon .Drive, including a gated croasing of
the Southern, Pacific Transportation Co. branch.,rail-
road to re --route the traffic now carried by the segw
went of Friant Road proposed to be vacated north of
Nees Alternatives for an interim connection. between
