All of the subject; territory affected is within
the County of Fresno.

For the ,purpose of the proposed reorga.ni z ation ,
the subject territory is ,found to be uninhabited..

The reasons for this proposed reorganization are
as follows
a,. The subject territory, is within the City
of Fresno;s Sphere of Influence.
b. The annexation was initiated as a result
ofseveral requests for annexation froltt
property owners within the project 'area..
C . It _is advantageous for the territory within
the Ashlait-Corne3. i . No . 4 D:1.astrict eo Jani'zat,l on
to be a part of the City of Fresno.

The conditions imposed by LAFcQ, namely that prior
to completion of the subject proposal, the City of
Fresno shall provide assurances that either an ,in-
stant aid fire' agreement with the North -Central Fire
Protection District has beer. completed or a temporary
or permanent City fire statil.on will be located within
2.5 miles of the affected` area before any additional
homes are -constructed.
An instant aid ,agreement between the City of Fresno
and the : North Central Fire Protection Dist.ript is
being negotiated at this time, and will satisfy the
above cS1tditi= a
