For the purpose of the proposed reorganization.
the subiect territory is found to be uninhabited.

The :� easons for this proposed reorgaxiiza.tion are
a s follows:
a. The sub iect territory is within- the. C Lty
of Fresno's Sphere of -influence.
b. The owners of three parcels within the
project' area have expressed_' a desireto
annex to the City.

the Mesa -Dolores ? ca , l i tri t eor an za .c n
to be a part of the City of resno'

The condition, imposed by LAFCO.. narxiely that prior
to completion of the subject district reorganisation
an annexation proposal shall be submitted to LAFCQ
for all that territory bounded ' by +�fst, Sierra,
Forkner and Bullard Avenues, will be met by the
City of Fresno prior to the coMplet'Lon of annex--
ation proceedings.

The LAFCO condition stating that the effective
date shall be September 1, 198 or :Later requires
no action: by the City of Fresno.

fifteen days nor more than 'sixty days' after the
date of adoption of this resolution is hereby

ing on the proposed- reorganization. :At this time

said. reorganization shall do so by wr tt ccmviun4.ca-
tion filed with the Clerk of the City of Fresno not
later ` Lhan the hour set for hearing. TTr tten pro-
tests shall be signed. and submitted after the adopt-
ion of this resolution and shall contain the date of
signature. A written protest by a landowner shall
eoxataira a description suf f ient to identify the
land owned by him.

The Clerk of the City of Fresno shall Qive notice
of such hearing once in a newspaper of general

Circulation at least fifteen, days pr-16r to the
date specified herein for hearing,

The CIEKrk shall further cause a copy of this
resolutric to be posted on or near the. door of
the meeting place of the Council, said posting
to ` be commenced at least fifteen dayw► prior to
the date specified herein for hearing and continue
to the time of said hearing.

The Clerk- shall further ' cause notice to be availed
to each person who awns land within the subject
territory and to all other affected cities or dis- .
tricts, and any other person who has a written re-
quest for , spEcia1 notice, 5uch mailings shall be by
first class mail, postage prepaid, ` at least fifteen
days prior to the day specified her'in for hearing
