RESOLUTION NO. 82-75 •
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO ESTABLISHING UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT NO. FRE-34
Public Works
WHEREAS, on December 22, 1981, the Council adopted
Resolution No. 81-516, which called for a public hearing for
February 16, 1982, at the hour of 11:00 a.m., in the Council
Chambers in City Hall, Fresno, California, to ascertain
whether the public necessity, h alth, safety, or welfare,
require the removal of poles, overhead wires and associated
overhead structures and the underground installation of
wires and facilities for supplying electrical, communication
or similar or associated service within the general bouR
daries of Shaw Avenue, between Palm and West Avenues, as
shown on the map entitled "Underground Utility District
No. FRE-34", which is on file in the Office of the City
Clerk of the City of Fresno, at Fresno City Hall, 2326
Fresno Street, Fresno, California. The area shall also
include all properties abutting the streets in the District;
and
WHEREAS, a finding of no possibility of significant
adverse effects was made for this project (Environmental
Assessment No. 4372) pursuant to Section 15060 of the State
EIR Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, a notice of hearing has been given to all
affected property owners as shown on the last equalized
assessment roll and utilities concerned in the manner and
for the time required by law; and
WHEREAS, such hearing has been duly and regularly held,
and all persons interested have been given an opportunity to
be heard.
