A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO
AMENDING THE FRESNO HIGH-ROEDING COMMUNITY PLAN
WHEREAS, on the 27th of October 1980, the Council of the City
of Fresno, at the request of Valley Construction, Inc., initiated
procedures to amend the Fresno High-Roeding Community Plan, as
shown on Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, Final Environmental Impact Report Nc. 10080, assess-
ing the proposed amendment, and two others in the vicinity, was
completed in accordance with the Environmental Quality Ordinance,
the California Environmental Quality Act, and the State E.I.R.
Guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, on the 16th of December 1981,
approved the proposed amendment to the Fresno High-Roeding Community
Plan, as shown on Exhibit "A", and recommended it to the City Coun-
cil for adoption; and
WHEREAS, the Council, on January 19, 1982, considered and certi-
fied Environmental Impact Report No. 10080 and adopted measures to
mitigate the negative environmental effects identified in the envi-
ronmental impact report; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fresno, on the 19th of
January 1982, held a public hearing of the amendment and considered
environmental documents, testimony, and evidence.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the Council of the City of Fresno hereby amends
the Fresno High-Roeding Community Plan Land Use Ele-
ment as shown on Exhibit "A", subject to the condition
that development of the property within the amendment
area shall be in accordance with the mitigation meas-
ures adopted in the Council's Resolution No.
certifying Environmental Impact Report No. 10080.
2. That the Director of Planning and Inspection is hereby
authorized and directed to make all necessary changes
to the official Fresno High-Roeding Community Plan map
in accordance with this resolution.
