RESOLUTION NO. 82-25
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO RELATING TO CONSISTENCY OF TENTATIVE
TRACT NO. 3469 (Exhibit "B," dated November 16,
1981) WITH THE VAN NESS/FORKNER LAND USE POLICY
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 80-48, the Council
of the City of Fresno reaffirmed support of the Van Ness/
Forkner Land use Policy; and
WHEREAS, the Fresno City Planning Commission considered
Tentative Tract No. 3469 and Rezoning Application No. 6464,
a development project in the Van Ness/Forkner Land use Policy
Area, and denied the rezoning and recommended denial of the
subdivision due to lack of conformity to that Policy; and
WHEREAS, Mr. James Logan, representative for the devel-
opment project, submitted a revised development proposal
entitled Tentative Tract No. 3469, Exhibit "B," dated
November 16, 1981, and requested the Council make a finding
that the proposed project is in conformance with the Van
Ness/Forkner Land Use Policy; and
WHEREAS, the City Council considered the request, con-
ducted a public hearing, heard testimony and received a
report and recommendation from the staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Fresno hereby finds that the development project
represented by Tentative Tract No. 3469, Exhibit "B," dated
November 16, 1981, is not consistent with the Van Ness/Forkner
Land Use Policy.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council finds that
development of a properly designed Planned Unit Development of
not more than fifteen units would be consistent with the Van
Ness/Forkner Land Use Policy.
