A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 76-37, REGARDING CONNECTION TO THE SEWER SYSTEM UNDER THE URBAN GROWTH MANAGEMENT PROCESS
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fresno by Resolution No. 76-37 established a policy to manage the location and timing of growth in the City of Fresno; and
WHEREAS, said policy currently permits deferment of immediate connection to the existing sewer sy3tem if certain specified conditions are met; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to expand the conditions under which the City may consider an interim alternative toimmediate connection to the sewer system for property within the AE-5 zoning district.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of theCity of Fresno hereby amends Section 3.5(1) and Section 3.5(4)of Resolution No. 76-37 insofar as it applies to conditionsunder which the City may consider an alternative to immediate connection to the sewer system to read as follows:
SECTION 3.5(1)
In AE-5 and AE-20 zoning districts, only for permitted
development on single parcels (not applicable to subdivisions) meeting the following conditions:
a) The parcel size is in excess of 36,000 square feetwith public water or 100,000 square feet with private
water;
b)The proposed building(s) cannot exceed a total of 5,000 square feet of gross floor area;
c) The maximum calculated sewage flow (based on standard public works criteria) shall not exceed 300 gallons per acre per day;
d)The development shall be such that a maxim um offive water closets would be required by the Uniform
Plumbing Code;
