RESOLUTION NO. Z2-441
AUTHORIZING GRANT DEED TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF FRESNO -
PARCELS 5 AND 6 - RELINQUISHMENT REQUEST NO. 79170
WHEREAS, the Department of Transportation, State of
California, has acquired the right of way for and has con-
structed in the City of Fresno, between Broadway and Divisadero,
Streets,, Road 06-FRE-41,, commonly referred to as Freeway 41-, and
WHEREAS,. the Department of Transportation, State of
California, as a part of the said Freeway 41 project, has
relinquished to the City of Fresno certain small parcels of
land for use as city streets, alleys and drainage facilities,
more Particularly described in a document entitled "RELINQUISH-
MENT OF HIGHWAY RIGHT OF WN)( IN THE CITY OF FRESNO, ROAD
06-FRE-41-R2'2.48-R23.90 REQUEST NO. 79170",. recorded September 11,
1974, as Document No. 69274 in Book 6345 at page 674 Official
Records of Fresno County, and including by reference that certain
set of maps consisting of 10 sheetsl.entitled "RELINQUISHMENT
MAP, REL. REQ. NO. 79170 (15 PARCELS) PROPOSED RELINQUISHMENT
TO THE CITY OF FRESNO" filed June 11, 1974f in State Highway
Map Book 2 at pages 57 to 66 inclusive, Fresno County Records.
'VEXCEPT.I.NG and RESERVING unto the State of California any and
all rights of ingress and egress from the highway right of way
hereby relinquished in and to the adjacent and adjoining freeway";
and
WHEREAS, included in the above -mentioned relinquishment
are two parcels of land designated as PARCEL NO. 5 and PARCEL NO.
16, which lie within the boundaries of the Mariposa Plan established
by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Fresno by adoption of
Resolution No. 616 on January 2. 1969 and approved by the Council
of the City of Fresno by adoption of Ordinance 69-11 on January 14..
1969; and

WHEREAS, said Parcel, No. Sand Parcel No, 6 are required`
by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Fresno for the completion
of said Mariposa Plan.
NOWT THEREFOREr BE IT RESOLVED that for a valuable con-
sideration, the City of Fresno, a municipal corporation, hereby
authorizes the execution of a Grant Heed to the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of Fresno, a public body corporate and politic,
to the herein referred Parcel. No. 5 and Parcel No. 6 as described
and delineated in the above -mentioned RELINQUISHMENT I A.Pr REL.
REQ. NO 79170 (15 Parcels). PROPOSED RELINQUISH14ENT TO THE CITY
OF FRESNO filed duns: 11, 1974, in. State Highway b.lap Book 2 at
pages 57 to 66 inclusive, Fresno County Records, EXCEPTING and
RESERVING any and all rights of .ingress and egress from the highway
right of way as heretofore reserved. 1
IT IS FURTHER. RESOLVED that the Chief Administrative
Officer of the City of Fresno is authorized to sign and deliver
all documents pertaining hereto and that the City Clerk of the City
of Fresno is authorized and directed to attest said Grant Deed and
cause it to be delivered to the Redevelopment Agency of the City
of Fresno with a duly certified copy of this Resolution affixed
thereto
