A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITE
OF FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, CONSENTING TO THE
ASSIGNMENT OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT FROM OWSN MEHARD & ASSOCIATES
TO MUNICIPAL SERVICES, INCH
WHEREAS, the CITY OF FRESNO, herain.after referred to as
"City", has entered into an agreement with OWEN IMAR:D & ASSOCIATES,
hereinafter referred to as "Consultant-.,, dated June 27, 1978, for
professional planning services.; and
EHEREAS.. Consultant desires to assign its rights and delegate
its duties under said agreement to MUNICIPAL SERVICES, INC.,
hereinafter referred to as, "Assigra.ee" and
WHEREAS, Assignee is capable of performing the services
required under said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City
of Fresno, that it gives consent to the assignment of rights and
delegation of duties. from Consultant to Assignee, subject to the
following conditions:
1. That Consultant and Assignee. provide City a copy of
their contract of assignment within 15 days from the adoption`
of this Resolution; and
2 That the Assignee agrees to; accept a.11 obligations
of the Consultant referred to in 'said agreement and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER-, RESOLVED, ' by the Council of the
City of Fresno, that it authorizes the Housing and Community
Development Director to execute any necessary documents to imple
ment said assignment of,,-. professional services agreement.
