RED vELOPMANT SURVEY .AREA FOR STUDY PURPOSES WHEREAS, The Housing and Community Development Commission of the City of Fresno has recommended that a study area be estab- lished to determine if a redevelopment project is feasible in the area generally bounded on the north by the right-of-way for the 180 Freeway, on the east by the right--of-way for the 41 Freeway, on the south by Divisadero Street, and on the west by Abby Street, and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fresno desires that the area previously described be studied to determine if a redevelop- ment project within that area is feasible; and �,V-HEREA.S, the Council of the City of Fresno desires that a redevelopment project be initiated within the area should it be found that such -a project is feasible, and WHEREAS, Section 33310 of the California. Community Redevelop- ment Law (Health and. Safety Code, Sections 33000, et seq.) provides that redevelopment survey areas may be designated by resolution of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV Do that the Council of the City of Fresno hereby designates the Lowed "C"/Jefferson Area as a Redevelopment Survey Area shown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. NO J, THEREFORE., BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Fresno hereby finds that the said designated area requires study to determine if a redevelopment project or projects within the area are feasible, CLERK' .S CERTIFICATION STATE OF CALIFORNIA 3 COUNTY OF FRESNO ss CITY OF FRESNO I, JACQUELINE L.
