RESOLUTION NO. 79 42
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO, CALIFORNIA, - AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
I3Y THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER OF FOOD
CONCESSION AGREEMENTS FOR AIRWAYS AND
RIVERSIDE GULF COURSES,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Division of the Department of
Finance completed the Request for Proposals procedure, asking
for bids on the operation of the `coffee shops at Airways an
Riverside Golf Courses; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Robert L . McMillian was the only one wtho
responded with a bid by the closing date of September 7
19 7 9 ; and
WHEREAS, negotiations and evaluation of Mr. McMillian'e
bid disclose that he has extensive food service experience,
and that he knows the golf pros and is familiar with the
operation of the Courses.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO,
CALIFORNIA, DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
1. Food concession agreements between the City and
Robert L. McMillian, containing the following major terms,
are hereby approved.:
a. Term. of the agreements w. 11 be four years and
eleven months, commencing October 2, 1979, with rent
commencing November 1, 1979
b Concessionaire will have the exclusive right
to provide food and beverage services, and will bear
the full cost of concession operation,,excluding
structural maintenance of coffee shop buildings.
c. The lease payments will be:
