A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO
AUTHORIZING A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF FRESNO AND THE FRESNO POLICE. RESERVE UNIT.
WHEREAS, the City of Fresno desires to engage the Fresno
Police Reserve Unit to augment police services at the Fresno
District Fair; and
WHEREAS, the Fresno Police Reserve Unit has agreed to provide
1,248 manhours of police services to the City of Fresno as directed
by the Chief of Police or his designated representative during the
Fresno District Fair to be held October 2, 1979, through October 19,
1979; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fresno agrees to pay the Fresno Police
Reserve Unit a sum not to exceed $6 240 for work performed at the
Fresno District Fair;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO, that the City's Purchasing Agent be authorized to execute
said contract on behalf of the City of Fresno with the Fresno
Police Reserve Unit for the provision of support police services
during the 1979 Fresno District Fair.

certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 79-417 was regularly
