CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTBETWEEN THE CITY OF FR.ESX0 AND THE TWENTY-FIRST DISTRICT AGRICULTURAL ASSOCIATION. WHEREAS on August 29, 1978, the Council amended. Section 2-•1517.1 of the Fresno Municipal Code to establish guidelines providing for police services at the Fresno District Fair; and WHEREAS, the City of Fresno and the Twenty --First District Agricultural Association have agreed that basic law enforcement services will be provided without charge by the City during the 1979 Fresno District Fair; and WHEREAS, the City of Fresno has agreed to furnish extra- ordinary police protection and law enforcement services during the Fair, commencing October 2, 1979, and continuing through October 14, 1979 and WHEREAS, the City of Fresno will Provide extraordinary services utilizing reserve officers, cadets, patrolmen, specialists, sergeants, and supervising officers as needed; and WHEREAS the City of Fresno agrees to charge for these extra- ordinary services a suin not to exceed $10 ,500 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO, that the Chief. Admimistraticre Officer be authorized to execute said: contract on behalf of the City of Fresno with the Twenty -First District Agricultural Association for the provision of extraordinary police services during the 1979 Fresno District Fair.
