RESOLUTION NO. 7 - 4 1
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF TIM CITY OF FRESNO
DESIGNATING THE YWCA RESIDENCE HAIL TO THE LOCAL'
OFFICIAL REGISTER ;OF HISTORIC RESOURCES.
WHEREAS, at a noticed public hearing on September 18, 1979,
the Council heard testimony on the subject property; and
WHEREAS, the YWCA Residence Hall, located at 1660 "M" Street, was
built in 1922; and
WHEREAS, the structure has been evaluated and: determined to have
architectural and historical significance; and
WHEREAS, the structure has been designated as a Local. Historic
Monument and to, the National Register of Historic places.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council oy the City of Fresno
designate the YWCA Residence Hall to the Local Official Register as set
forth in Article 4 of the Fresno Municipal Cade relating to the Preserva
Lion of Historic Structures
