A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO
DESIGNATING THE WAREHOUSE ROW TO THE LOCAL OVFICIAL
REGISTER OF HISTORIC RESOURCES,
wHEREAS, at a noticed public hearing on September 18, 1979, the
Council heard testimony on the subject property; and
WHEREAS, Warehouse Row is comprised of three structures. the Fresno
Consumer Ice Co. at 702 "P" Street; the Western Meat Co. at 744 "P"' Street,
and the WQrmser Building at 764 "P" Street; and
WHEREAS,. Warehouse Row has been evaluated and determined to have
architectural and historic significance; and
WHEREAS, Warehouse Row has been designated to the National Register
of Historic Places, and as a Point of Historical Interest by the State of
California; and, as a Local Historic Monument by the City of Fresno.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Fresno
designate Warehouse Row, comprised of 702 744 and 764 "P" Street, to the
Local official Register as set forth in Article 4 of the Fresno Municipal
Code relating to the Preservation: of Historic Structures,
