A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO
DESIGNATING THE WARNOR'S THEATRE TO THE LOCAL OFFICIAL
REGISTER OF HISTORIC RESOURCES.
WHEREAS, at a noticed :public hearing on September 18, 1979,
the Council heard testimony on the sutject property; and
WHEREAS, the Warnor's Theatre, located at 1400-1430 Fulton Streets
was built in 192 9 ; and
WHa REA S , the structure has been evaluated and determined to have
historical, architectural and cultural significance; and
WHEREAS, the structure is one of the few of its type that remains in
the State of California:, and the only one of its type that was built in
Fresno; and
WHEREAS, the structure has been designated to the National Register
of Historic Places
NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Fresno
designate the Warnor's Theatre to the Local official Register as set forth
in Article 4 of the Fresno Municipal Code relating to the Preservation: of -
Historic Structures.
