RESOLUTION NO. 79-404
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO
DESIGNATING THE FRESNO REPUBLICAN BUILDING TO THE
LOCAL OFFICIAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC RESOURCES.
WHEREAS at a noticed public hearing on September 18, 1979
the Council heard testimony on the subject property; and
WHEREAS, the Fresno Republican Building, or "Printery", located
at 2130 Kern Street, was built in 1919; and
WHEREAS, the structure has been evaluated and determined to have
architectural and historic significance; and
WHEREAS, as recommended by Council, the structure has been
designated to the National Register of Historic Pla.cesa
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Fresno designate the Fresno Republican Building to the Local Official
Register as set forth in Article 4 of the Fresno Municipal Code
relating to the Preservation of Historic Structures.
