RESOLUTION ORDERING VACATION OF PUBLIC STREETS AND ALLEY
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 7 4 0-D ,
on file herein, a public hearing was held<at 9.05 A.M. on the
,
21st day of June, 1977, at a regular .meeting ; of Council of the
City of Fresno in the Council Chambers of the Fresno City Hall
in the City of Fresno, County of Fresno, State of California a,
at which time and place evidence was heard for and against
the vacation of the hereinafter described public'streets: and
alley situated within the City and County of Fresno and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RESOLUTION 77-258 adopted June 21„
1977 at a -regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fresno,
certain work was required to be performed, as a condition of
adoption of the RESOLUTION ORDERING VACATION OF PUBLIC STREETS
AND ALLEY; and
WHEREAS.the Director of Public Works of the City of Fresno
has determined that:the work required to be performed pursuant to
RESOLUTION 77-258 has been completed and accepted by the City
of Fresno; and
WHEREAS the -City Traffic Engineer has reviewed the proposed
vacation action and has determined that the existing streets and
alley to be vacated will have no adverse effect -upon traffic
circulation; and'
WHEREAS. Environmental Assessment No. 1291 hasl determined
that the proposed vacation action "will have no significant
effect on` the environment" ; and
WHEREAS , the Council o f the Cityof Fresno now °finds and
determines from all evidence submitted that such streets and
alley, hereinafter particularly described are unnecessary for
present and prospective public street and'.,alley and
all objections. to the contrary are hereb 'overruled;
NOW; THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 01' F'RESNO,;pursuant
to the provisions of the "Street 'Vacation Act of 1941"',` being
Sections 8300-8374 of the California Streets and HighwAys Code,
