MAKING DETERMINATION" AND APPROVING) RESOLUTION OF THE
PROPOSED "'SIERRA-BLACKSTONE #2 " FRESNO LOCAL :AGENCY

REORGANIZATION ) FORMATION COMMISSION

WHEREAS, preliminary proceedings were initiated by petition
5'
of property owners to annex territory located generally southeast
6
of Sierra and Blackstone Avenues to the City of Fresno and detach
7
from Mid -Valley Fire Protection District in the County of Fresno;
8
and
9
WHEREAS, an application for said proposal was accepted for
10
filing by the Executive Officer of this Local Agency Formation
11
commission pursuant to Title 6j, Division 1, Part-2 of the
12
Government Cede of the State of California;, and F
13
' WHEREAS, said application was set for hearing by the Execuutive
14
Officer on the 22nd 'day. of August 1979, at the hour of I:40 P.M.
15
of said day; and
16
WHEREAS, notice of the hearing of said application was duly
.'
given by mail,, posting, and newspaper publication as required by
18
law; and.
19
WHEREAS, the Executive Officer reviewed said application and
20
prepared a report, including his recommen;dationa thereon, said
21
application and report having been presented to and, considered by
22
this Commission; and
23
WHEREAS, this Commission considered .all relevant factors and
24
heard all interested parties wishing to speak eipv said: application;
25
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Local Agency Formation
26
Commission of the County of Fresno DOES HEREBY RZ$OLVE, DETERMINE
27
AND ORDER as follows
28
Section 1 Said proposal is approved. Any resolution of the
29
conducting agency ordering this reorganization shall provide that
30
such reorganization shall not be subjectto any 'terms and
31
conditions,
