RESOLUTION NO. 79 w 3 6 7
A. RE OLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITE
OF FRES O, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, WITHDRAWING
CERTAIN AREAS FROM THE MID -VALLEY FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT (ALLUVIAL-BLAC STONE NO. 2)
WHEREAS., the City of Fresno is a municipal corporation duly
organized and existing under the: Constitution and laws of the
State of California, and the Council of the City of Fresno is the
legislative body of such city under its Charter; and
WHE SEAS , by Resolution No. 7 9 --16 71 of the Board. Of Super isars ,'
which resolution became effective July 23, 1979 the territory
hereinafter described was annexed to the City of Fresno, and.
WHEREAS, the resolution has been filed with the Secretary of
State, and an affidavit of completion was filed with the County
.Recorder on August 22, `1979 and
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described -territory at the effective

date of such annexation was and now is located: within the exterior
boundaries of the Mid --Malley Fire Protection District, axed
r WHEREAS, Section 13952 of the Health. and Safety Cade of

California provides, in substance, that, whenever any portion of
a fire protectiondistrict is included within a city by reason of
annexation, such portion may be withdrawn from the fire protection
district, such withdrawal to be effective on the date ` fixed by the
legislative body of the city, which date shall not be more than'
two years after said annexation proceedings are completed; and
NOW., THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITE' OF FRESNO DOES HEREBY
RB$OLVE . AND DECLARE that effective on the date of ' adoption of this
resolution, there is withdrawn from the Mid Valley Fire Protection
District that territory situated in the:,, City of Fresno, County of
Fresno, State of Ca,liforni.a l particularly described as follows

,ALLUVIALRBLACKSTCNE NO. 2 .ANNEXATION
(Under Government Cade Section 35013)
Consists of portions of Lots 2291 249,E 250, 251 and 252 of
Amended Perrin colony No. 2
BEGINNING at the intersection of the centerline of North .Abby Ave-
nue (Friant Road) with the South line of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 33, Township 12 North, Range 20East;, Mount Diablo Meridian,,
as said Section n is shown can the United States Township Plats, being
also, a point on the existing City Limits of the City of Fresno;
thence Westerly along the South lite of the Northeast Quarter of
said Section 33, being also, along the said existing City Limits,
to the ,intersectioi1 -Aith the East right-of-way line of North Black-
stone Avenue Highwzky 41) ; thence Southerly along the said Fast
right -elf -way line of Blackstone Avenue (Highway 41) being -also
along the said existing City Limits , ' to the intersection -with a
line which is 179.50 feet South of, and pa.ral.lel with, the South
line of Lot 251 of amended Perrin Colony No. 21 according to the
map thereof, filed in the Office of the County Recorder Apri.l. 1,
1891, and .recorded in Volume 4 of the plats at page 68, Fresno
County Records; thence Easterly alone said line which is 179.50
.feet South of, and parallel with, the South line of said Lot 251,
being also, along the said existing City Limits, a distance of 50
feet more or less, thence North. 1.3° 54 g 00" East, a distance of
860 feet, more or less, along the said existing Cite Limits, to
the intersection with the South line of Lot 250cif said Amended
Perrin Colony No. 2; thence Easterly along the South line of said
Lot 250, being also, along the said existing City Limits, to the
intersection with the centerline of North Abby Avenue (Friant Road)
thence Northeasterly along the centerline of Nora, .Abby (Friant
Road) .being also, along the said existing City Limits, to the Point
of Beginning.
