RESOLUTION NO. 79 - 560
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FRESNO AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMISSION FOR APPROVAL BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND SUBSEQUENT EXE-
CUTION OF AMENDMENT TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM FOR 1979/82
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Fresno desires to
amend the approved Community Development Program for 1979/82
in accordance with the provisions of the Housing and: Com-
munity Development Act of 1977 and relevant Rules and
Regulations governing its implementation.; and
WHEREAS, full information has been given to affected
citizens regarding the amount of funds available, the range
of eligible activities; and
WHEREAS,, citizens have been afforded ample opportunity
to participate in the development of amendment and provided
appropriate technical assistance in the articulation of
their expressed needs and preferences and

WHEREAS, the City has fulfilled the requirements of OMB
I
Circular A-95 and
WHEREAS, the subject amendment has been developed to
give maximum attention to benefit low and moderate income
families.
NOW, THEREFORE, ,IT IS RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF FRESNO that:
1. The amendment set forth in Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and incorporated by reference herein, is hereby
approved for submission to the 'U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development; and
2. The Chief Administrative Officer of the City of
Fresno, or his designated representative is authorized to
assume responsibility for the correct execution of the
program described in said amendment, including the sub-
mission of all reports, certifications, and other material
as HUD may require; and ,
