A RESOLUTION -OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITE' ._ OF FRESNO t
CALIFORNIAj AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF . DEED OF
EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company is to
install underground utilities for the s1;-,�vice of the improve-
ments under construction of Lot 23, Tract No. 2553, Aix -Fresno
Business and Industrial Tract located within the boundaries
of Fresno Air Terminal, and
WHEREAS, said Pacific Gas and Electric Company desires
to install a portion of said underground utility conduits,
pipes, wires, cables, electrical conductors and fixtures and
appurtenances necessary for the successful installation and
completionof said underground facilities within a strip of
land 10 'feet in width and 225 feet in depth adjacent to and
paralleling the west line, of Lot 23, Tract No. 2553; and
WHEREAS, the City' of Fresno, the owner of the, Real Property
of the Tract Site and Mr. Atwood Grove the prime tenant of said
subdivision No. 2553, are parties of the first part; and
WHEREAS, said electrical',service is necessary to the
operation of said i nE provements being constructed on said Lot
23
NOW, THEREFOREr BE IT RESOLVED that, for a valuable
consideration, the City of Fresno, a municipal corporation,
joins with Mr. Atwood Grove, as parties of the first part in
granting the following described Deed of Easement to the
Pacific Gas and Electric Company, party of the second part:
The right from time to time to construct, install
inspect, maintali nr replace, remove, and use facilities
of the type hereinafter specified, together with a
night of way therefor, within a' strip or ,parcel of
lard or along a route as hereinafter set forth, and
also ingress thereto and, egress therefrom, over
and across the lands situate in the City of Fresno,
County of Fresno, State of California, described as
follows.

The west 10 feet of the south 225 feet cif Lot
23, Tract No. 2553, as said Lot 23 's shown
on the map of said Tract No.. 2553-and recorded
December 4, 1974, in Book 29 of Plats at Pare
1, Fresno County Records, in the office of the
Fresno County Recorder.
Said facilities shall consist of:
Such underground conduits, pipes, wires, cablest and
electrical conductors; and fixtures and appurtenances
necessary to any and all thereof, as second party deem
necessary locatedwithin the strip- of land f 10 feet in
width, outlined by heavy dashed lines can the print
[ of second party: s Drawing No. 4236-E attached hereto
and made a past hereof.
First party shall not erect or construct any building
or other structure or drill or operate any well within
said strip of land.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Housing
and Community Development Department is authorized to sign
all documents pertaining hereto, and that the City Clerk
of the City of Fresno is authorized and.directod to attest
said Deed. of Easement and cause 'it to be delivered: to the
Pacific Gas and Electric Company with a duly cortif ied coPY
of this Resolution affixed thereto.
