RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM
DEED By THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER .AND
THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
WHEREAS, upon annexation, to the Corporate Limits of the
City of Fresno, the City acquired the right, title and
interest of the County of Fresno in that parcel of land
lying within the Maple Avenue right of way between Jensen
and Grave Avenues; and
WHEREAS, the acquired land, as described herein,
is surplus to the needs of the City and is useful only to
the adjacent property owners; and
WHEREAS, on March 20, 1979, the Planning Comission
of the City of Fresno, by Resolution No. 6793, recommended
to the Council the approval of Tentative Tract No. 311
which incorporates the land described herein within the limits
of the proposed Subdivision, and
WHEREAS,. on April 10_, 1979, the Council, by Resolution
Now 7.9-136,,... approved the Tentative Map of Tract... No . 3110 X.
and
WHEREAS, the Final Map of Tract No. 3110 is being offered
to the Council, for approval; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department does not object
to the proposed. Quitclaim.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Chief Administrative
officer and the Public :Works Director be authorized to
quitclaim the might, title . and interest of the City in the
herein described parcel of the Land to the adjacent property
owners
All that real property described as follows
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of the Southwest
Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 13, Town-
ship 1.4 South., Rage , 20 East, Mount Diable Base and
Meridian; thence South 090 57' 39" East, 30.00 feet;
thence South 00 52' 2111 East, 40`.00 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING, thence North 441 34' 5911 East,
