RESOLUTION NO. 79-296
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEED OF EASEMENT
WHEREAS, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company is
to install underground utilities for the service of Fire
Station #7, located on South Cherry Avenue within the limits
of the City of Fresno; and
WHEREAS, said Pacific Gas and Electric Company desires
to install a portion of ;said underground utility conduits,
pipes, wires, cables, electrical conductors, and fixtures
and appurtenances necessary for the successful installation
and completion of said underground facilities within: a
strip of land 12 feet in width and 60 feet in depth adjacent
to and paralleling the south line of Lot 12, Tract No. 2314 and
WHEREAS, the City of Fresno, the first party, is the
sole owner of said Lot 12, Tract No. 2314 and
WHEREAS, , said electrical service is necessary to the
operation of said Fire Station V .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, for a valuable
consideration, the following described Deed of Easement
be granted to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, the
second_ party
The right from time to time to constructs install
inspect, maintain, replace, remove, and use facilities
of the type hereinafter specified, together with a
right of way therefor, within a strip or parcel of
land or along a route as hereinafter set forth, and
also ingress thereto and egress therefrom, over
and across the lands situate in the City of Fresno,
County of Fresno, State of California, described as
follows
The South 12 feet of the - West 60 feet of Lot 12,
Tract No. 2314, as said Lot 12 is shown on
the map of said Tract No. recorded ,August 6,
1975, in Book 29 at Pages 48 and 49 of Plats,
4. in the Office of the Fresno County Recorder.

Said facilities shall consist of

appurtenances necessary to any and all thereof, as
second party deems necessary located within the strip
of land, 12 feet in width, outlined by heavy dashed
lines on the print of second pa.rty's Drawing No.
3899-E attached hereto and made a part hereof.
First party shall not erect or construct any build-
ing or other structure or drill or operate any well
within said strip of land
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Housing
and Community Development Department is authorized to sign
all documents pertaining hereto, and that the City Clerk
of the City of Fresno is authorized an4,, a ected to attest
said Deed of Easement and cause it to be delivered to the
Pacific Gas and Electric Company with a duly certified
copy of this Resolution affixed thereto,
