A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO
AUTHORIZING THE RENAMING OF A ONE --HALF BLOCK PORTION
OF NORTH TOLETACHI ROAD NORTH OF WEST ALLUVIAL AVENUE
TO WEST MORACA ROAD
WHEREAS, the Fresno County and City Street Names Committee
recommended that the City of Fresno designate the above mentioned
North Toleta.chi Road, a one --half block portion , North of West
Alluvial Avenue to West Moraga Road, and
WHEREAS, the Fresno City Planning Commission called a public
hearing on May ,15, 1979, to consider this change, pursuant to a
published notice as required by Section 12-1104--a- 2 of the Fresno
Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission during public hearing on
June 5 1979, received the recommendation from the Committee,
received the report and recommendation, from the Department of Planning
and 'Inspection staff, and: received oral testimony from interested
citizens relative thereto, and
WHEREAS, the Fresno City Planning Commission recommended to
the Council of the City of Fresno by Resolution No. 6879 that a
portion of North Toletachi Road be renamed Vest Moraga Road, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Fresno did receive the
recommendation of the Fresno City Planning Commission in. Accordance
.with Section 12-1104 and has determined therefrom that the street
name should be changed.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESULTED by the Council of the City of
Fresno that the one-half block poIrtion. of North,Toletaohi Road north
of West Alluvial Avenue be renamed "West Moraga Road,'

hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 79-�.2g9 was regularly
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Fresno at a. meeting
