A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO ESTABLISHING
SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY,
BE IT RESOLVED,BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FR:ESNO, AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT all terns and conditions of the Memorandum of Understanding
between the City and AFSCME Local 2051 for Fiscal Years 1976-77,
1977-78, and 1978779, are adopted., as a resolution of the City,
except that all germsand conditions relating to dues deduction
procedures, including revocation, shall, be governed by Fresno
Municipal Code Section 2-1919.
2. THAT the monthly salaries for all classes in Exhibit I of Resolution
No. 77--298 are increased by $70, except as follows:
a. In addition to the above, the salaries for classes
listed in Attachment A. to this resolution are .increased
by 2.5 per cent, effective January 1, 1980,
b. In addition to the above, the salary for Waste Collector III
employees operating Front Loader trucks and rapid rail
trucks shall be increased by $87 per -month and for taste
Collector III employees operating one man, manually loaded
trucks shall: be increased by $43 per month, both increases
to be effective January 1, 1980.
3. THAT the City" shall contribute, in addition to the sum already provided,
$5 < 27 per month per employee in the Non -Supervisory Blue Collar Unit,
for maintenance of the current level of health and welfare benefits.
4. THAT this resolution shall be in full force and effect an and after
July 1, 19 79

that the foregoing Resolution No. 79,271 was regularly
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Fresno, at a meeting
held July l , 1979, by the following votes
AYES: Doig, Mack, Reich,Williatms, Wills, Whitehurst
NOES: None
ABSENT: Alvarado
