RESOLUTION NO. 33A
RESOLUTION QUITCLAIMING EXCESS LAND AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF TWO QUITCLAIM DEEDS
WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council
letters from Ralph G. and Margaret A. King; and Ross E. and
Geneva Kelley requesting that the City of Fresno quitclaim the
hereinafter -described real property and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the land which
was formerly the Southern Pacific Railway right of way, and -
subsequently gaitclaimed to the City of Fresno is excess Land
and no longer needed for any public use by the City; and
WHEREAS, it appears proper that the land be quitclaimed
to the adjacent property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITE` OF FRESNO.
1. That the subject excess land be quitclaimed, to
Ralph G. and Margaret A. King; and Ross E. and Geneva Kelley.
2. That the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized
to execute quitclaim deeds on behalf of the City of Fresno to
that real property sit
uated in the County of Fresno, State
of California, described as follows
Quitclaim Deed #1 to King:
A portion of the former Clovis Branch of the
Southern Pacific Railway right of way, which
has been quitclaimed to the City of Fresno,
by Document No. 51563 on July 9, 1974, and
recorded in Book 6321 of Official Records,
at Fags 299, et. seq., Fresno County Records
and more particularly described as follows
Beginning at the most Westerly corner of Lot
48 in Block 79 of Sierra Vista: Addition No
4, as said Lot is shown on the map thereof,
filed in the Office of the County Recorder,

September 29, 1922 and recorded in Volume 9
of Plats at Page 68, Fresno County Records
thence North 310 351 35" Nest, along the
Northwesterly production of the Southwesterly
line of said Lot 48, a distance of 30.00 feet;

the Northwesterly lines of Lots 49 and 50, in
said Block 79, a distance of I13.15 feet:'
thence South 000 16' 10" West, a distance of
31.79 feet; thence Southwesterly along a
curve, concave to the East and having a radius
of 10.00 feet, through an interior angle of
180 411 13.11, an arc distance of 3.26 feet to
the intersection with the Northwesterly line
of said Lot 50; thence North 580 24' 25" East
along the Northwesterly lines of said Lots
50 and 49, a distance of 1.31..18 feet to the

has been quitclaimed to the City of Fresno,

recorded in Boob 6321 of official. Records,
at Page 299,`et seq., Fresno County Records,
and more particularly described as fellows
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 3
in Block 18 of the resubdivision of Sierra
Vista Addition, as said Lot is shown on the
map of the resubdivision of Sierra Vista
.addition, filed in the Office of the County_
Recorder December 16, -1931 and recorded
in Volume 11 of Plats at Page 12 Fresno
County Records; thence.South 8.90 57' 0011
West, along the South line of said Lot 3#
a distance of 200.00 feet to the TRUE POINT
OF BEGINNING; thence continuing South 890
57' 00" West, along the South' line of said
