RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNQ, CALIFORNIA, AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS
(PHASE 11) 1N THE MATTER OF CITY OF .FRESNO
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 67
WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, twice, a notice inviting bids for the
construction of storm drainage facilities (Phase 1) and street improvements (Phase 11) in
the area generally bounded by Palm Avenue, Cornell Avenue, A. T. & S. F. Railroad
right-of-way, and Vassar Avenue, known as. City of Fresno Assessment District No. 67;
and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent duly received bids therefor at 10*-0 ? A.M.
March 5, 1979, and publicly openedand declared such bids; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent has tabulated and analyzed suci" bids; and
WHEREAS, such bids have been duly submitted to the Council along with the
recommendation of the Chief Administrative Officer; and
WHEREAS, the Storm Drainage Facilities (Phase 1) contract has been
previously awarded.
h OWo THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO AS FOLLOWS:
Street Improvements (Phase 11)
The Council hereby declares AMERICAN PAVING CO. to be the lowest
responsible bidder for Street Improvements (Phase 11), and authorizes the Public forks
Director to enter into a written contract with such bidder for the construction of Street
Improvements (Phase 11) - Assessment District No. 67.
1, JACQUELINE L. RYLE, City Cleric of the City of Fresno, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Fresno at a regular meeting held on the 12 thday of J urn ,
1979, at the City 1--Icall in the City of Fresno, by the following vote:
AYES: Alvarado,' Do1 g, Mack, Reich, Williams
