RESOLUTION NO. 79-223
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO RELATING TO ESTAELISHMENT OF OUTSIDE
STORAGE AND TIE -DOWN FEES AT THE FRESNO
CHANDLER DOWNTOWN AIRPORT
WHEREAS, Section 2-3275 of the Fresno Municipal Code
authorizes the council to establish outside aircraft storage
and tie -down fees at Fresno Chandler Downtown Airport b
resolution, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 77-253 establishes same; and
WHEREAS, the Council desires to update said fees b
this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. In accordance with the provisions of
Section 2- 3275 of the Fresno Municipal Coder
outside aircraft storage and, tie -down fees to :be
effective on and after July 1, 1979, are hereby
established for the Fresno Chandler Downtown
Airport.
2. These charges are based upon the maximum
certificated gross landing Weight of such aircraft
and are for outside parking and storage in the
public aircraft parking and tie -down areas.
3 The term "certificated gross landing Freight"
used herein shall be the standard maximum certificated
gross landing weight of aircraft as determined; by the
Federal Aviation Administration or as determined by
other governmental agencies having jurisdiction over
civil aviation.

4. All aircraft stored in the open on public -use
as shall be subject to the storage charge. The above
s shall apply to all aircraft except those for which

to any aircraft parked or stored on public -use areas on
the airport for four (4 ) hours or more in any twenty-four
(2 4 ) hour period. The monthly rate shall be determined
on a calendar -month basis and shall, apply when the
accumulated daily rate equals or exceeds the monthly rate.
. All daily charges shah be paid prier to
aircraft departure unless other arrangements are made with.
the Airports Manager. All monthly storage charges shall
be paid in advance upon receipt of billing.
7. Outsidestorage shall be permitted on the
airport only at places designated by the Airports
Manager. The owner or operator of any aircraft stored
outside shall be responsible for the tie -down and securing
of his aircraft.
8. Resolution No. 77-253 and all -other resolutions
in conflict with this Resolution are repealed. effective
July 1., 1979,
