RESOLUTION NO. 79-221
A RESOLUTIO14 OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO ESTABLISHING CITY POSITIONS WHICH
SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE CITY OF FRESNO
CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE.
WHEREAS, -under the provisions of the Political Reform Act
of 1974, the Council of the City` of Fresno is the code reviewing
body for conflict of interest codes required of city departments
and city agencies other than the City Council; and
WHEREAS, on January 23, 1979, the Council of the City of
Fresno adopted Article 20 of Chapter 2 of the Fresno Municipal
Code, entitled Conflict of Interest Code, which provides that all
employees, serving in positions in the city service which involve
the making or participation in the making of decisions which may
foreseeably have a material effect on the financial interests -
of such employees, shall be subject to the disqualification and
disclosure provisions of such Conflict of Interest Code; an
WHEREAS, the Chief Administrative Officer has suhmitted
to the Council a list of certain city positions which shall be
required to report pursuant to the City of Fresno Conflict of
Interest Code and the categories of disclosure required for
such position.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS
1. The attached Exhibit "A`t, incorporated herein as if
fully set forth, lists certain designated positions which shall
be subject to the City of 'Fresno Conflict of Interest Code and
the categories of disclosure required for each position,
2. The incumbents of such. positions shall file the
required financial statements no later than thirty (30) days
subsequent to the adoption of this Resolutions
