RESOLUTION NO. 79-220
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FR.ESNO, CALIFORNIA., ALLOWING THE SERVING
OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON THE PREMISE OF
THE MEUX HOME.
WHEREAS, the Meux Home Corporation has been incorporated as a
California non-profit corporation for the purpose of
operating the Meux Home; and
WHEREAS, the Meux Home Corporation is permitted by contract to
operate the Meux Home for the benefit of the general
public and is responsible for programming, hiring staff,
establishing fees and paying operating costs; and
WHEREAS, a major source of the revenues needed to meet operating
costs will be generated through fund-raising events; and
WHEREAS, the selling of alcoholic beverages will facilitate the
fund-raising activities of the Meux Home Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the Meux Home Corporation intends to pursue the necessary
licensing to permit the selling of alcoholic beverages,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council approves the serving
of alcoholic beverages on the premise of the Meux Home.
