.A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FRESNO ESTABLISHING CITY . Po SITIONS
WHICH SHALL BE SUBJECT To THE CITY OF
FRESNO CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the Political. Reform
Act of 1974, the Council of the City of Fresno is the code
reviewing body for conflict of interest codes .required of
city departments, and city agencies other than the City
Council; and
WHEREAS, on January 23, 1979 the Council of the City
of Fresno adopted Article 20 of. Chapter 2 of the Fresno Muni-
cipal Code, entitled Conflict of Interest Code, which provides
that all employees, serving in positions in the city service
which involve the making or participation in the making of
decisions which may foreseeabl.y have a material effect, on
the financial interests of such employees, shall be subject
to the disqualification and disclosure provisions of such
Conflict of Interest Code; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Administrative officer has submitted
to the Council a list of certain city positions which shall
be required to report pursuant to the City of Fresno Conflict

of Interest Code and the categories of disclosure required
for such position.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS
I, The attached exhibit "A", incorporated herein as if
fully set forth, lists certain designated positions which shall
be subject to the City of Fresno Conflict of Interest Code
within the aforementioned offices and the catagories of dis-
closure required for each position,
2. The incumbents of such; positions shall file the
required financial statements no later than thirty (3 a ) days
subsequent to the adoption of this Resolution.
