A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO,
CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE 'ABATEMENT OF WEEDS,
RUBBISH, REFUSE, AND DEBRIS FROM PRIVATE PROPERTY
AND STREETS
WHEREAS, on January 30 1979 and April 3 1979, this Council,
by Resolution Nos. 79_37_and 79-125, declared weeds rubbish, refuse and
debris on certain properties to be public nuisances, ordered them posted
according to law, and set a hearing for April ' 17, 19793, to hear objections
of the property owners to the abatement of the nuisances-, and
WHEREAS, on April 170 1979, either no objection was made to the
abatement of said nuisances, the Abjection of the owners to said abatement
was overruled by motion of this Council, or upon objection this Council
moved the removal of the particular property from the weed abatement list;
€ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRESNO
1. That the nuisances upon each of the parcels located and des-
cribed in Revised Exhibit "Afs s which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by this reference, shall be abated by having the weeds, rubbish,
refuse, and dirt piles removed
Z. That such work of abatement shall be by contract awarded by
this Council to the lowest responsible budder in accordance with California
Government Cade Section 3957 t5
