RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO, CALIFORNI'A, AWARDING CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF STORM DRAINAGE FACILITIES
(PHASE I) IN THE MATTER OF CITY OF FRESNO
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.67
WHEREAS, the City Clerk published, twice, a notice inviting bids for the
construct ion of storm drainage facilities (Phase 1) and street improvements (Phase 11) in
the area generally bounded by Palm Avenue, Cornell Avenue, A. T. &. S. F. Railroad
right -of -gray, and Vassar Avenue, known as City of Fresno Assessment District No. 67;
and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent duly received bids therefor at 10:00 A.M.
March 5, 1979, and publicly opened and declared such bids; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Agent has tabulated and analyzed such bids; and
WHEREAS, such bids have been duly submitted to the Council along with the
recommendation of the Chief Administrative Officer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
THE CITY OF FRESNO AS FOLLOWS:
Storm Drainage Facilities (Phase 1):
The Council hereby declares TOM CONSTRUCTION, INC. to be the lowest
responsible bidder for Storm Drainage Facilities (Phase 1), and authorizes the Public
Works Director to enter into a written contract with such bidder for the construction of
Storm Drainage Facilities (Phrase I) -- Assessment District No. 670
I, JACQUELINE L. RYLE, City Clerk of the City of Fresno, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council'
of the City of Fresno at a regular meeting held on the 17 slay of April ,
1979, at the City Hall in the City of Fresno, by the fallowing vote;
