RESOLUTION NO. 72 -13 1
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF FRESNO TO GRANT A CHANGE IN
BASIC SERVICE RATES TO FRESNO CABLE T.V. CO.
THE COUNCIL of SHE CITY OF FRESNO DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
WHEREAS, Section 6--212 of the Fresno Municipal Cone
provides a procedure for approval by the Council of changes
in cable television system service rates and; charges; and
WHEREAS, on March 28 1979, Fresno Cable TV Co made
a written request to the city for approval of changes in the
basic service rates to subscribers; and
WHEREAS, said request has been considered by the Chief
Administrative Officer and his report and recommendation thereon
have been presented to the Council; and
WHEREAS, on April 3, 1979, the Council did consider the
request and the Chief Administrative officer's report and
recommendation thereon, and determined that such changes should
be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council, of the City of Fresno does
hereby resolve, publish and declare its intentions, as follows
FIRST: At its regular session on Tuesday, April 24, 1979,
the Council will, by resolution grant to Fresno Cable TV Co
the following rates and charges which shall be payable by the
subscribers of the system to the grantee:
Basic MonthlX Service Rates:
1. First Residential T. V. connection
Effective May 1, 1979 $7.95
Effective Jan. 1, 1980 $8.5£
2. Additional residential T. V. connection(s) $3.00 each
SECOND All other rates and charges presently in effect
are to remain unchanged.
THIRD: All persons having any interest in:, or objection
to, the granting of such changes, may appear before the Council
and be heard, at its regular session on Tuesday, April 24, 1979,
at the hour of 3; 00 o'clock p m, of said day, at which time
and dace the Council will make its final determination with
respect to said franchise,:

FOURTH: The City Clerk is directed to cause this
resolution to be published once within fifteen days of this
date in a newspaper of general circulation within this city,
the same to be so published, and a copy thereof to be mailed
to the grantee, at least ten days prior to the date herein
specified for hearing and determination respecting the granting
of such changes
