EXECUTION OF DEED-
WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council a
written offer of Helen J. Chenot, an unmarried woman, as tenant,
to purchase the hereinafter described real property belonging
to the City of Fresno; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed by said offer to purchase the
hereinafter described property for the total sum of THREE, HUNDRED
AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($300.00) receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged; nd

WHEREAS, it appears that said offer is the highest and
best offer received for said property, which is surplus to the
a
needs of the City of Fresno, from adjoining ' owner;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said offer is hereby accepted
and the Director of the Housing and. Conununity Development Depart-
ment of the City of Fresno is authorized to execute an acceptance
thereof, on behalf of the City of Fresno, and to execute such
other documents as may be necessary to consummate the sale to the
offerors of that real property belonging to the Citr of Fresno
and situated in the County of Fresno, ,State of California, de-
scribed as follows`.
A portion of .Lot 10, in Block 2 of ' Sierra Heights as
said lot is shown on the Map of Sierra Heights, filed
in •the Office of the County Recorder, January 25 1941
and recorded in Volume 12 of Plats at page ` 34, Fresno
County Records, and more particularly described as
follows;
Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 10 thence
West, along the North line of saidLot 10 a distance of
32.00 feet; thence Westerly and Sciutherly, along a tangent
curve, concave to the Southeast, and having a radius of
8.00 feet, through an interior angle of 900 00' 0011, an

arc distance of 12.57feet, to a point which is 20.00
feet East of the West line of said Lot 10 thence South,
parallel with the West line of said Lot 10 a distance of
11723 feet, to the intersection with the South line of
said Lot 10; thence East, along the South line of said
Lot 10, "a distance of 40.00 feet, to the southeast corner
of said Lot 10; thence North, along the East line of
said: Lot 10, a distance of 125.33 feetr to the Point of
Beginning.

together with all improvements, if anyx situated thereon, for
the sum above stated., and in accordance with the terms and condi-
tions of said written offer; and
BE :IT RESOLVED FURTHER., that the Director of the Housing
and Community Development Department of the City of Fresnc) is
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City a grant
deed of said: property to Helen J. Chenot, an unmarried woman,, as
tenants and that the City Clerk is directed to attest said deed
and cause it to be delivered to the grantee or their authorized

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 79-127 was
regularly passed and adopted by the Councilof the City of Fresno
