A RESOLUT ION . OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRESNO.- CALIFORNIAt APPROVING CALL FOR
CONSTRUCTION ]SIDS IN THE MATTER OF CITY
OF FRESNO ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 67
WHEREAS., the Council did, on the 4th day of ,A.pril ,
1973, pursuant to Article 20 of Chapter 15 of the Fresno
Municipal Code, adopt its Resolution of Intention to con-
struct the public improvements generally described: in such
resolution, with an assessment district known as City of
Fresno Assessment District No. 67; and
WHEREAS the Council has preliminarily approved
the Engineer's Report regarding such assessment district;
NOW, THEREFORE;, the Council of the City of Fresno
does hereby resolve as follows
1 The City Clerk shall publish, once a week for
two Successive weeks in the Fresno Bee - The Republican,
newspaper published and circulated in the City, a notice
inviting sealed bids for the construction of -street im-
provements in strict accordance with the plans and speci-
fications contained in the Engineer's Report on file with
the City Clerk and preliminarily approved by the Council by -
resolution. The first publication shall be at least fourteen
(14) days prior to the time fixed for opening bids.
2. Such sealed bids shall be delivered to the
office of the Purca.asing Agent of the City of Fresno on or
before 10:00 o clock a in on, MARCH 5 , 1979, at 2348
Mariposa; Street, Fresno, California, said time being not
less than fourteen (14) days from the time of the first
publication of said notice.
3, Bids will be publicly opened, examined, and
declared on such day and hour, or promptly thereafter, by
the Purchasing Agent who shall, report such bids to the Council
