RESOLUTION NO - 7-9 -9
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITE' OF FRE'SNO, C-l"IFORNIA,
APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION ASAP OF TRACT NO. 2960 ,
, ANC ACCEPTING DEDICATED PUBLIC
USES HEREINa AMD- P-PRi}VINC AND AUTHOR Z INC E mTION or, ` Hr,,
SUBDIVISION AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Andrade Development Company
has offered for a.pproval a final subdivision map desg mated as Tract
No. 2960 p
and,
WHEREAS, all the certificates which appear on the final map
(except the approval certificate of the Council, of the City of
Fresno and the recording certificate of the Recorder of the County
of Fresno) have been signed and acknowledged and said final map
has been filed for approval, and,
WHEREAS, said subdivision lies within the boundaries of the
City of Fresno; and,
WHEREAS, said reap conforms to all of the requirements of the
Subdivision Map Act of the State of California, and City ordinances,
resolutions and standards; and,
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the proposed subdivision,
together with the provisions for its design and -improvement, is
consistent with all applicable general and specific plans of the
Cityz
WHEREAS, said subdivider and the owners, whose signatures
appear on said map, and others have offered for dedication certain
streets, public utility easements, access rights and other public
properties and uses as shown and delineated upon said map; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Fresno, by
formal resolution has approved the tentative map, and the final
subdivision map is in substantial compliance therewith, any
deviations therefrom being deemed to be approved by this Council -

WHEREAS; a Subdivision Agreement, in the form presented
to the Council this day, for the construction and installation
of improvements as therein specified for said tract, has been
prepared and is ready for execution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Fresno as follows:
1. That said final tract map is hereby approved and all of
the streets, public utility easements, access rights and other
public properties and uses offered for dedication on said map are
hereby accepted.
2. Said Subdivision Agreement is hereby approved and the
Director of Public Works of the City is hereby authorized to execute
the same on behalf of the City.

r REORGANIZATION } FOIU,4ATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, preliminary proceedings have been initiated by the
City of Fresno to annex certain territory to the City of Fresno
and detach from North Central Fire Protection District in the
E County of Fresno; and
WHEREAS, an application for said proposal has been accepted for
If iling by the Executive officer of this Local Agency Formation
lCommission pursuant to Title 6, Division 1, Fart 2 of the
lGovernment Code; and
WHEREAS, said application was set for hearing by the Executive
lofficer on the 20th day of December 1978, at the hour of 3.20 P.M.
of said day; and
WHEREAS, notice of the hearing of said application was duly
given by mail, posting, and newspaper publication as required by
law; and
WHEREAS, the Executive officer has reviewed said application
land prepared a report, including his recoaendations thereon, said
application and report having been presented to and considered by
this Commission; and
WHEREAS, this Commission has considered all relevant factors
land heard all interested parties wishing to speak on said
application; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project was found to be categorically
f exempted from the provisions of the California Environmental.
Quality Act.
NOWT WHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Local. Agency Formation
I Commission of the County of Fresno does HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE,
AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1, This Commission certifies it has reviewed and
considered the environmental assessment.

Section 2. Said proposal is approved subject to the terms and
1 conditions hereinafter specified.
Section 3. Any resolution of the conducting agency ordering
Ithis reorganization shall provide that such reorganization shall
[ be subject to the following terms and conditions:
None.
Section 4. The boundaries of the territory proposed to be
(reorganized, as set forth in attached Exhibit A or as amended by
condition, are approved. Said territory is found to be uninhabited
land is assigned the following distinctive short form designation;
J' Fairmont -Fruit #2 .
Section. 5. The City of Fresno is designated as the conducting
l agency and the governing body of said agency is hereby directed to
initiate reorganization proceedings in compliance with this
resolution.
Section 6. Further proceedings shall be initiated, conducted,
land completed pursuant to required law. proceedings and any
resolution of approval shall comply with the Commission resolution
of approval.
Section, 7. The Executive Officer is hereby authorized and
(directed to mail certified copies of this resolution as provided
in Section 56272 of the Government Code.

AREA TO BE DETACHED FROM THE NORTH CENTRAL FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND
ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF FRESNO.
Consists of a portion of Dots 48 and 49 of Bullard North .Fresno Addition,
BEGINNING at the intersection of the East line of the West Half of Section
17, 'Township 13 South, Range 20 East, Mount Diablo Base & Meridian, as said
Section is shown on the United States Township Plats, with the Westerly pro-
duction of the North line of Lot 48 of Bullard North Fresno, Addition, accord-
ing to the map thereof, filed in the Office of the County Recorder April 14,
1915 and recorded in Volume 7 of the Plats at page 72, Fresno County Records,
being also, a point on the existing City Limits of the City of Fresno; thence
Southerly along the East line of the West Half of said Section 17, being also,
along the said existing City Limits, to the intersection with the Westerly
production of the South line of Lot 49 of said Bullard North .Fresno Addition;
thence Easterly along the Westerly production of South line of said Lot 49
and along the South line of -said Lot 49 to the intersection with the East
line of the West Half of said Lot 49; thence Northerly along said East line
