Alcorn, Deputy Fire Chief/Fire Marshal Prevention and Support Services Division (559) 621-4181 FAX (559) 498-4323 Fresno Fire Department 911 H Street Fresno, CA 93721-3082 “To protect and put service above all else.” FIRE INDUSTRY BULLETIN 2022-002 SCOPE Fire protection system field inspection appointments from March 28, 2022, through April 1, 2022. PURPOSE The purpose of this industry bulletin is to notify applicable stakeholders that there will be a further reduced number of fire protection system field inspection appointments available during the time period noted above. INFORMATION Fire protection system field inspection appointment availability will be significantly impacted as staffing levels will be diminished during this time period due to additional mandated training for Fire Prevention Division staff members. Stakeholders are advised that they should take all necessary steps to ensure that systems have been installed in accordance with approved plans and have been pre-tested prior to a scheduled inspection. As inspection appointments are further reduced, stakeholders are advised to plan their projects and submittals accordingly. It is the Department’s intent to increase the number of available appointments as quickly as possible in the upcoming months. NOTE This notice is effective March 15, 2022, and will expire on April 2, 2022.
