ADDENDUM NO. I TO EMERGENCY SOLUTION GRANT AGREEMENT
THIS ADDENDUM NO. 1 is made this 30 day of September 2015, by and
between the CITY OF FRESNO, a municipãì corporát¡on 1.'C|TY'¡, and FRESNO
ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY COMMISSION, a California 501(c)(3) not-for-profit
Corporation ('RECI Pl ENT').
RECITALS
WHEREAS, CITY and RECIPIENT entered into an Agreement for the
Emergency Solution Grant ('ESG"), dated September 01,2015, and
WHEREAS, CITY and RECIPIENT following consultation to jointly desire to
modify the Agreement in certain regards, upon the terms and conditions herein.
WHEREAS, CITY and RECIPIENT desire to modify Matching Fund
RequirementsofRecipientfoundintheAgreementatParagraphs
Section 5.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the above recitals, which recitals are
contractual in nature, the mutual promises herein conditioned, and for other good and
valuable consideration hereby acknowledge, the parties agree that the ãforesaid
Agreement be amended as follows:
1. Article 1, section 5: Matching funds requirements of RECIPIENT shall be
replaced with the following:
"Time contributed by volunteers shall be calculated pursuant
to 42 CFR section 576.01 (eX2) and any subsequent
amendments."
2. ln the event of any conflict between the body of this Addendum and any
Exhibit or Attachment hereto, the terms and conditions of the body of this
Addendum shall control and take precedence over the terms and
conditions expressed within the Exhibit or Attachment. Furthermore, any
terms or conditions contained within any Exhibit or Attachment hereto
which purport to modify the allocation of risk between the parties, provided
for within the body of this Addendum, shall be null and void.
