HomeMy WebLinkAboutIntegral Community Solutions Institute 1st Amendment to the Violence Intervention & Prevention Initiative Grant Agreement - 2-14-24 DocuSign Envelope ID:EB4F356E-53DF-4B80-A5EB-2564F35E1E6D FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE VIOLENCE INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION INITIATIVE GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF FRESNO AND INTEGRAL COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS INSTITUTE REGARDING FUNDING FOR INDEPENDENT EVALUATION SERVICES FOR THE VIOLENCE INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION INITIATIVE THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE GRANT AGREEMENT (Amendment) is entered into effect on 2/14/2024 , between the CITY OF FRESNO, a California municipal corporation (City), and INTEGRAL COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS INSTITUTE a California nonprofit organization (Agency). RECITALS WHEREAS, the City and the Agency entered into an agreement on November 21, 2022 (Agreement), to provide INDEPENDENT EVALUATION SERVICES FOR THE VIOLENCE INTERVENTION AND PREVENTION INITIATIVE (Project); and WHEREAS, the Agreement is set to terminate on February 21, 2024; and WHEREAS, the Project is not yet complete; and WHEREAS, the City and the Agency desire to extend the Agreement through July 31, 2024 to complete the Project; and WHEREAS, the City and the Agency desire to continue program progress reporting for the extended agreement period through July 31, 2024. WHEREAS, with entry into this Amendment, the Agency agrees it has no claim, demand, or dispute against the City and affirms that it will abide by all obligations contained in the agreement entered into on November 21, 2022. AGREEMENT NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree that the aforesaid Agreement be amended as follows: 1. The recitals to this Amendment are incorporated and made a part of this Amendment. 2. The Agreement is extended through July 31, 2024. 3. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Agreement, and all obligations contained therein remain in full force and effect. In the event of any conflict between the Agreement and this Amendment, this Amendment shall control. 4. The final draft of the report is due to the City by July 15, 2023. 5. The final report is due no later than July 31, 2024. 6. The final invoice is due no later than August 31, 2024.
