CITY OF FRESNO, CALIFORNIA
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO SERVICE AGREEMENT (First Amendment) is
hereby made to the Service Agreement entered into between the CITY OF FRESNO, a
California municipal corporation (City) and Local Government Strategic Consulting., a
California Limited Liability Company (Service Provider).
RECITALS
A. City and Service Provider entered into an agreement (Agreement) on August 1,
2023, for outreach to district constituents and legislative counsel services for
Council District 2 (Project).
B. City and Service Provider now desire to amend the Agreement to clarify the
compensation terms of the Agreement specifically with regard to payment for
media purchases.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, it is mutually agreed that
this First Amendment shall revise the Agreement as follows:
1. Section 3, paragraph (a) the Agreement is hereby replaced in its entirety
with the following:
(a) Service Provider's sole compensation for satisfactory
performance of all services required or rendered pursuant to this
Agreement shall be a total fee not to exceed $45,000, paid on the
basis of the compensation schedule set forth in the schedule of fees
and expenses contained in Exhibit A. Such fee includes all
expenses incurred by Service Provider in performance of the
services, except Service Provider's compensation shall not include
the cost of actual paid media.
2. Except for the revisions herein, the Agreement remains in full force and
effect. In the event of any conflict between the Agreement and this First Amendment,this
First Amendment shall control.
