FIRST AMENDMENT TO
CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT (Amendment)
made and entered into effect on ________________, between the CITY OF FRESNO, a
California municipal corporation (City), and Translating Services, Inc. DBA Lazar
Translating & Interpreting, a California Stock Corporation (the Consultant).
RECITALS
WHEREAS, the City and the Agency entered into an agreement on November 2,
2022 (Agreement), to provide professional Translation and Interpretation services for
Translation and Interpretation Services on an As-Needed/On-Demand Basis; and
WHEREAS, the City now wishes to modify language throughout the agreement to
amend the administering department, Contract Administrator and the contacts listed in the
Agreement, amending administration roles and responsibilities from the PARCS
Department to the City Clerk or designee;
WHEREAS, with entry into this Amendment, the Consultant agrees it has no claim,
demand, or dispute against the City and affirms that it will abide by all obligations contained
in the Agreement entered into on November 2, 2022.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree that the Agreement be amended as follows:
1. The fourth recital (page one) of the Agreement dated November 2, 2022,
which states “WHEREAS, this agreement will be administered for the City by its PARCS
Director (Administrator) or designee” shall now be amended to read “WHEREAS, this
Agreement will be administered for the City by its City Clerk (Administrator) or designee.”
2. The point of contact listed on page twelve of the Agreement dated November
2, 2022 shall be amended in its entirety to replace the PARCS point of contact with the City
Clerk as listed below.

3. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Agreement entered into by the City
and Consultant on November 2, 2022, remains in full force and effect.
