FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
This First Amendment to Agreement (Amendment) is effective as of 3/20/2023
(Effective Date) and amends the Subrecipient Agreement entered into by and between
the City of Fresno, a California municipal corporation (City), and Planned Parenthood Mar
Monte, a California nonprofit corporation (Grantee).
RECITALS
A. The City and the Grantee entered into a subrecipient agreement dated August
12, 2022 (Agreement) to award earmarked funds in the amount of $1,000,000
(Grant Funds) pursuant to Assembly Bill 178 Section 19.56(h)(20) for the purpose
of Reproductive Health for the Central Velley and for health center renovations.
B. The City and the Grantee now desire to amend the Agreement to include the
documentation requirements set forth by the State of California Department of
Health Care Services.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the above recitals, which recitals are
contractual in nature, the mutual promises herein contained, and for other good and
valuable consideration hereby acknowledged, the parties agree that the Agreement be
amended as follows:
1. Documentation. Within 30 days after all Grant Funds are expended, the Grantee
shall provide to the City all invoice documentation and a general ledger report
detailing all expenses incurred and paid by Grantee with the Grant Funds. The
City and the Grantee are required to maintain all documentation provided by
Grantee according to City's retention policy.
2. Except as expressly modified by this Amendment, the Agreement remains in full
force and effect. In the event of any conflict between the Agreement and this
Amendment, this Amendment shall control.
